Local Varieties

Goustolidi

Goustolidi is a rare local grape variety that comes mainly from vines of the mountainous Zakynthos vineyards. It is one of the oldest varieties with a small presence in the different areas of the island but with excellent aromatic and taste elements. It has a pleasant acidity that brings freshness to your glass.

Vostilidi

Vostilidi is an excellent variety traditionally found in the Ionian Islands. It has moderate to high acidity depending on the altitude where it is grown and gives wines with a light color, balanced acidity and a long aftertaste.

Avgoustiatis

Avgoustiatis comes from a rare Greek grape variety that has been cultivated in Zakynthos since at least the 14th century. It is found in many parts of the island and is characterized by the rich color and the unique aromas; it brings to your glass.

Pavlos

Pavlos is a local grape variety distinguished for its exceptional potential. It highlights the white wines through a soft and aromatic expressiveness. It basically offers a fruity aroma and a refreshing taste that emphasize the elegance and finesse of the variety.

Robola

It belongs to the family of Kefalonian robola variety and stands out due to its characteristics. Zakynthian robola offers a different acidity and a stronger aftertaste. It is usually grown in the mountain vineyards of the northwest side of the island.

Skiadopoulos

Skiadopoulos is a variety that traditionally participates in the production of white wines. This rare variety produces yellow-gold skin grapes. It has a fruity character with citrus aromas that lends freshness to the taste.
